ACHGJ works to expand women’s economic power, leadership and voice, strengthening their ability to shape the institutions, policies and systems that affect their health, livelihoods and communities.

We advance women’s economic power by addressing the structural barriers that limit access to resources, financing, decent work and economic opportunity. Our work connects women’s livelihoods and financial agency with health equity, recognising that economic power shapes women’s ability to make decisions about their health, families and futures.

We strengthen women’s leadership, voice and influence in the institutions and decision-making spaces that shape health and economic systems. Our work supports inclusive governance, accountable institutions and greater participation of women and structurally marginalised communities in shaping policies, priorities
